Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join our team at the Calo Kitchen. This role involves working closely with the head chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, assisting with menu planning, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring inventory and supplies.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Ensure timely and high-quality food preparation while adhering to our standards.
  2. Assist the head chef in planning and directing food preparation when needed.
  3. Develop problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise.
  4. Train and manage kitchen staff, create schedules, and evaluate performance.
  5. Maintain effective communication with team members.
  6. Order supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  7. Adhere to sanitation regulations and safety protocols.
  8. Maintain a professional and positive attitude among coworkers.
  9. Deliver exceptional dishes in terms of design and taste.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a DCDP or CDP. A minimum of 8 years of experience in the hospitality and catering industry is required. The candidate must be proficient in English and currently reside in Qatar. Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility is a plus.

Key Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with proven experience in managing teams and implementing kitchen operations. They should be up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.
