Job Overview

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive compensation and benefits programs for employees. This strategic position requires a deep understanding of market trends, data analysis, and creative problem-solving to design competitive and effective compensation packages.

As a key member of the human capital team, you will work closely with hiring managers to determine appropriate compensation packages for new hires, promotions, and transfers. Your expertise in compensation and benefits will ensure that employee offerings remain aligned with industry standards and company goals.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess exceptional analytical and communication skills, as well as a passion for staying up-to-date on compensation and benefits trends, legislation, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures to attract and retain top talent
  • Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to evaluate the organization's compensation and benefits programs and make recommendations for adjustments and enhancements
  • Manage the annual compensation review process, including salary surveys, job evaluations, and salary structure adjustments
  • Analyze, review, and finalize monthly payroll for accuracy and provide guidance on better practices
  • Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, and other employee perks, ensuring effective communication, enrollment, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to managers on compensation and benefits-related matters, including job offers, salary negotiations, and total rewards packages
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent
  • Bilingual (Arabic and English professional) candidates born in Qatar are encouraged to apply
  • 8+ years of experience in human resources or a similar field
  • Expertise in compensation and benefits programs and practices
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Ability to design and administer competitive and compliant compensation and benefits plans
  • Experience in Payroll
