About the Role

At Red Castle, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Finance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development and Enhancement: Provide subject matter expertise to ongoing process developments, enhancements, and improvements.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Support management in implementing process improvement initiatives and writing business cases for development of small applications and system enhancements.
  • Cargo Revenue Accounting: Ensure accuracy in terms of volume, values, and accounting of Cargo Revenue in order to ensure that correct revenue is being declared in the Cargo Revenue Accounting system.
  • Test Strategy and User Acceptance Tests: Implement the Test Strategy and User Acceptance Tests and act as a guide to the testers for trouble shooting.
  • BPO Coordination: Assist BPO and ensure cargo processing activities are carried out as per the SLA.
  • Policy and Procedure Review: Conduct on-going reviews of Policy documents, IAPs, SOPs, and BPO SLA delivery and ensure that these are regularly updated based on business needs.
  • Audit and Compliance: Review of findings for Self-Audits, Quality/EWS reports, executive summaries, and submission to higher management to ensure that there are no audit non-compliances for Cargo Revenue Accounting areas.
  • Departmental Objectives and Priorities: Establish the department or team's objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
  • Communication and Training: Communicate management initiatives and assist in understanding and resolving possible issues that might be encountered during implementation. Impart training to end users as and when necessary in relation to the process changes, system enhancements, and developments implemented.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferably relating to Commerce or Business Administration (Accounting Major).
  • Experience: 5 or more years' experience in Revenue Accounting.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills, sound understanding of Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Corporate Governance, sound knowledge and experience in development and implementation of internal controls framework, sound knowledge, understanding, and experience in application of International Accounting Standards/IFRS, proven ability to constantly meet tight deadlines, ensuring quality control, and attention to detail, strong ability to work in a cross-culture environment, with teams spread across different geographies.
