Job Summary

MARRIOTT EXPERIENCE IS A MUST - ONLY CANDIDATES WITH RECENT MARRIOTT EXPERIENCE (CURRENT OR PAST) WILL BE CONSIDERED

As a key member of our revenue management team, you will be responsible for overseeing revenue management activities and managers within your area of purview. Your primary goal will be to balance the financial objectives of different lodging products to maximize total revenues and profit associated with guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pricing and Yield Management: Develop and recommend sales strategies for pricing of the transient customer, wholesale, and group segments.
  2. Revenue Analysis: Analyze period end and other available systems data to identify trends, future need periods, and obstacles to achieving goals.
  3. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate reservation system information and check distribution channels regularly for hotel positioning, information accuracy, and competitor positioning.
  4. Reporting and Communication: Generate updates on transient segment each period and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
  5. Strategic Planning: Develop and recommend sales strategy for pricing of the transient customer, wholesale, and group segments, and identify new revenue opportunities.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
  2. Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
