Job Description

As a key member of the EGEC team, the Tenders and Proposal Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation and compilation of project documents. This includes tender and technical documents, reports, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation and compilation of project documents, including tender and technical documents, reports, and specifications.
  • Engineering Document Support: Provide support for all engineering documents, including letters, reports, company brochures, and similar documents.
  • Technical Document Summarization: Read and summarize technical documents to ensure accurate and concise information.
  • Correspondence and Filing: Draft routine correspondence, file memos, and proofread produced documents to ensure high-quality output.
  • Market Analysis and Communication: Conduct market analysis and communicate findings to support business development.
  • Research and Information Gathering: Navigate the internet to gather client information, research competitors, and locate clients.
  • Administrative Support: Perform various computer-based tasks, including creating spreadsheets, preparing presentations, creating and typing documents, maintaining calendars, and tracking deadlines.
  • Tender Technical Document Preparation: Prepare tender technical documents required for submittal.
  • Document Control: Establish and maintain project filing in accordance with the quality management system.
  • Client Network Directory: Create and maintain a client network directory.
  • Project Queries and Communication: Handle project queries and communication in the absence of team members.
  • Meeting Coordination: Communicate by email and telephone, schedule meetings, and calendar deadlines, attend client external and internal meetings.
  • Quality Department Support: Provide support and cooperation in regards to quality department requirements and audits.
