About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sales Senior Officer to join our team at Qatar Airways. As a key member of our Global Sales team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and revenue protection while maintaining commercial alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide commercial business support and assistance to Global Key Account Managers under the Business Travel function, including project management, governance, and compliance.
  • Perform data analytical tasks to identify and support business activities driven by management requests and self-generated initiatives.
  • Actively support the Business Travel team in growing business relationships with corporate portfolios and achieving revenue targets through ongoing review of existing businesses.
  • Provide deep analysis and research into business opportunities within a changing global marketplace to inform commercial decisions and reduce speed to market.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Contracts/Legal/Finance/local sales teams, to implement and maintain sales policies.
  • Support Key Account Managers and field offices in achieving sales targets/KPIs.
  • Identify and highlight required improvement areas within existing processes.
  • Prepare intelligent reports and analytics for client and internal stakeholder business reviews to provide commercial visibility and support decision-making.
  • Lead analysis of revenue data and build templates to identify improvement opportunities in the Business Travel segment.
  • Prepare analysis and make fact-based proposals to senior management to improve revenue production.
  • Support management with ad-hoc analyses.
  • Participate in and support the incentive agreement processes from sales generation and cost reduction perspectives to achieve speed to market and maximize return on investment.
  • Support Global Sales wider commercial objectives across relevant functions through the formulation, development, and implementation of tools and products that facilitate and enhance station performance capabilities.
  • Lead User Team Acceptance Testing of products and systems developed for the business and delivered by IT Teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of commercial products.
  • Support in drafting and maintaining business line or product-specific SOPs and guidelines to facilitate further business alignment and compliance.
  • Conduct periodical control checks using tools provided to mitigate potential compliance risks from the business according to set policies and procedures.
  • Research/develop and produce B2B communication material in coordination with marketing specialists, relevant for specific client bases.
