Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of operational processes and inventory management. Key responsibilities include developing operational activities to support QNCC departments' merchandising and inventory needs, managing store operations to achieve departmental requirements, and providing planned stock requirements to QNCC. Additionally, the candidate will prepare a replenishment plan during shutdown to prevent stock shortages, provide inputs for the Annual Procurement Plan, and issue instructions to Stores personnel regarding new policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also supervise the annual physical inventory committee and ensure optimum stock levels on premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop operational activities to meet and support QNCC departments' merchandising and inventory needs
  • Manage store operations to ensure achievement of agreed departmental requirements
  • Provide planned stock requirements to QNCC, taking into account current stock on hand, current stock on order, and forecasted consumption
  • Prepare a replenishment plan during shutdown to prevent stock shortages
  • Provide inputs for the Annual Procurement Plan (APP)
  • Issue written and oral instructions to Stores personnel regarding new policies and procedures
  • Supervise the annual physical inventory committee
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of operational processes and inventory management, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or logistics environment is highly desirable.
