If you are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role, we invite you to apply for the position of Administrative Specialist for Contracts at BSL - BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL. As an Administrative Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining contract records, reviewing contracts against established guidelines, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms.

Responsibilities:
  1. Contract Record Management: Manage and maintain contract records, including reviewing and ensuring contracts, agreements, and other related documents are comprehensive, concise, and in compliance with contracting procedures and guidelines.
  2. Tender and Contract Status Updates: Assist the Head of Contracts and Agreement Section in reviewing and updating the status of ongoing tenders and contracts.
  3. Contract Requirements and Procedures: Monitor compliance with contract requirements and internal procedures, ensuring all conditions are satisfied.
  4. Historical Data Analysis: Provide analysis of historical data of contracts and provide recommendations and corrective actions to the Head of Contracts & Agreements Section.
  5. Contracts Information System Maintenance: Maintain and update the contracts information system and retain original records of contract-related documents.
  6. Progress Reporting: Prepare status/progress reports for the Section periodically, reporting the status of the Section's activities to management.
  7. Correspondence Records: Establish and update records of all correspondence related to contract activities.
  8. Training and Development: Participate in the training and mentoring of less experienced Qatari employees.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in engineering and more than 6 years' experience in large construction projects, which includes a minimum of 4 years of experience in construction contracts administration.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English (must) and Arabic (preferably).
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in the use of computers and computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
