We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at ProgressSoft Corporation. As a Support & Implementation Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing high-level technical support and implementing enterprise solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and install solutions at customer infrastructure platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity for internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance visits to ensure system uptime and optimal performance.
  5. Perform other job-related duties as required, contributing to the success of our team and clients.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar technical support role, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and software development.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  5. Proficiency in database engines (Oracle, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL), operating systems (Linux, MS Windows), and cloud infrastructure orchestration tools (Kubernetes, HashiCorp Nomad).
  6. Experience with application servers (Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere), DevOps techniques (CI/CD, Helm, Ansible), and directory services (AD, LDAP).
  7. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  8. Strong initiative and self-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Experience in large enterprise environments, with a focus on payments and remittance solutions.
  2. Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization technologies, storage, and network infrastructure.
  3. Implementation experience of high availability and disaster recovery, backup and recovery strategies.
  4. Knowledge of PKI infrastructure and certificate authorities.
  5. Knowledge of database engines (MySQL, NoSQL databases), server and client operating systems (Linux distros, MS Windows).
  6. Knowledge of object storage management and security authentication and authorization solutions (HashiCorp Vault, Keycloak).
  7. Knowledge of cloud-based solution infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OCI, IBM).
