Job Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth in a specific market segment by establishing and maintaining account plans with Cisco Small and Medium Business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account plans to promote sales growth and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners at all levels, including senior executives.
  • Identify and recruit new business opportunities and develop strategies to close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective management and closure of active deals.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas for Cisco product portfolio.
  • Manage credit lines and ensure timely payment from partners.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and regular updates on account performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 24 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in IT distribution, wired, wireless, and security networking solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple partners and high sales quotas.
  • Strong understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel.
  • Ability to manage complex sales environments and pipelines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Reporting Structure

The Business Development Manager will report to the Business Unit Manager.
