The Senior Business Development Engineer is a critical role that drives business growth through identifying new businesses, diversifying revenue streams, and developing strategic relationships. This individual will require a strong blend of business acumen, analytical skills, and experience in financial analysis. Key responsibilities include identifying and developing business opportunities, analyzing new markets for potential entry, developing and maintaining comprehensive financial models, executing and nurturing corporate business strategies, driving revenue growth, and building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. To succeed in this role, a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development is required, along with an MBA and relevant qualifications. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, decision-making and leadership skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in financial modeling software, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite. A strong understanding of business plans, financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting is also essential.
