Product Brand Projects Manager

Job purpose:
This role is responsible for leading key brand projects, including those that specifically leverage QR sponsorships for the purpose of building the QR brand. The role works closely with the QR sponsorship team, as well as a range of other senior stakeholders across the Qatar Airways business and strategic partners. They lead the development and creation of sponsorship brand content for digital, social print, radio and TV media, and also for other kinds of marketing communications material such as events, brochures and point of sale materials. Additionally, they influence and lead the process in which QR agency partners deliver what is required by key stakeholders thus managing the execution of brand campaigns from start to finish
Operational duties:
Overall accountable to support strategic use of all sponsorships to position Qatar Airways as the premium, world leading international airline building QR brand whilst maintaining the integrity of the Qatari heritage.
- Manage all briefings for brand-owned creative agencies and production houses. Lead the brand campaign conceptualization process as well as all production to deliver brand and tactical campaigns for the business. Lead cross-functional teams as the brand custodian to ensure the brand team delivers top line brand consistency across all global markets for sponsorship brand campaigns.
- Manage stakeholder relations with the Sponsorship department to ensure campaign objectives are achieved.
- Maintain and lead on the development of all sponsorship brand guidelines for the QR brand in relation to maximizing the use of sponsored assets across the group.
- Regularly review brand health research and identify opportunities, trends and improvements to how QR leverages sponsorships to build the QR brand.
- Oversee correct delivery of brand materials in all languages for all sponsored campaigns so that the brand is well represented in all the markets.
- Develop digital-first assets supported by mainstream media assets such as print, radio and TV, plus all other marketing literature as needed, to support marketing and brand campaigns for internal stakeholders.
- Develop strategic relationships with creative agencies to ensure excellence and innovation in the creative delivery of brand sponsorship campaigns.
- Lead the brand delivery for any event or trade exhibition driven out of global sponsorships.
- Co-ordinate with Sponsorship team in development and evaluation of sponsorship driven marketing objectives ensuring that Qatar airways derives the most value out of the partnerships to build brand equity. Manage all inhouse creative sponsorship campaigns developed by the Qatar Airways creative services team.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
Without a Degree:
Grade 8 - Internal : High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification [Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 7 years of job-related experience
OR
With a Degree.
Grade 8 - External & Internal: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience
OR
Qatari Nationals:
Grade 8: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent without prior experience
Essential
- International and middle eastern marketing experience
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Excellent customer service attitude and account management skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good presentation skills
- Ability and confidence to present to senior management level.
- Good understanding of the creative process, able to lead the production process across digital and offline channels.
- An appreciation for global sports sponsorship and an understanding of the global sporting landscapes.
- Managerial skills - ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
- Ability to foster teamwork among team members and cross-functional peers.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate to deliver results.
- Command of English language
Preferred
- Experience in creating marketing campaigns leveraging sponsorship partners.
- Proven track-record of producing content for international brands.
