About the role

The Project Specialist role is responsible for managing and supporting projects for Ground Services. This is in line with the Project Manager's strategic direction and allocation. The role is involved in all stages of the project life cycle through in-depth research, analytics and strategy definition. In this role, you will propose project designs, product communication strategy and the entire implementation process to the Senior Management. You will closely support the Senior Managers and other Managers by introducing new technology to enable efficient and effective project tracking, visibility and accountability within the department.

Specific responsibilities of the role include:

- Enhances department project management capabilities by automating processes, introducing new project management technology, and ensuring well-defined documentation is in place.
- Supports with the development and design of the project management framework by defining the processes, training, implementation and accountability across each of the teams using project management tools such as MS Projects.
- Drives a change in project management methodology, introducing a more agile approach with greater accountability, that is solution-focused.
- Works closely with the Projects Manager and GS stakeholders to solve business unit project problems, redefining processes, developing support tools, and providing project level guidance.

**Qualifications**:
About you
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent/High School Qualification/Vocational/Diploma.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in airline project management.
- Experience in Airport/Ground Handling operations is an advantage.
- Previous experience in project management and strong exposure to different Project Management Software/ Systems.
- Good command in English language. Srong communication skills.
- Highly organized and ability to prioritize work as per requirement and timeline.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Offie Suite - Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Fast learner and able to build relationship with different stakeholders and business partners.
- Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
