Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- **Facility Operations Management**: Oversee the daily operations of all facilities, ensuring optimal performance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
- **Strategic Planning**: Develop and implement long-term strategies for maintenance, upgrades, and space optimization to support organizational goals.
- **Budgeting and Financial Oversight**: Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead, train, and mentor a team of facility staff, contractors, and vendors, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- **Vendor and Contractor Management**: Negotiate and manage service contracts, ensuring high standards and timely completion of work.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- **Crisis Management**: Develop and implement emergency response plans and oversee responses to incidents such as power outages, natural disasters, or equipment failures.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Act as the primary liaison between senior management, staff, and external service providers regarding facility-related issues and projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management and Engineering
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in facility management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), FMP (Facility Management Professional), or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and applicable regulations.
- Proven experience with budget development and management.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of team development.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Proficiency in facility management software and tools.
