Position Overview:

As the IT Migration Supervisor for the transition from MasterCard to Visa, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the migration process of ITV (credit and debit card portfolio) seamlessly. This role requires a deep understanding of IT operations, particularly in coordinating technical teams, coupled with proficiency in computer security principles and technologies. The successful candidate will support the implementation of Visa products with a keen focus on risk and digital aspects, ensuring a smooth transition while adhering to deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migration Oversight: Lead and supervise the migration process of ITV from MasterCard to Visa, ensuring all aspects are meticulously planned and executed in alignment with organizational objectives and timelines.
  • Technical Coordination: Collaborate closely with technical teams involved in the migration process, providing guidance, support, and resolving any technical issues that may arise during the transition.
  • Risk Management: Prioritize risk assessment and mitigation strategies throughout the migration process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizing potential disruptions to operations.
  • Digital Integration: Support the implementation of Visa products, focusing on seamless digital integration and enhancing customer experience while maintaining the highest standards of security.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors to ensure alignment on migration plans, progress updates, and resolution of any challenges encountered.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the migration process, including timelines, milestones, technical configurations, and post-migration analysis. Generate regular reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams involved in the migration process, empowering them with the necessary skills and expertise to support ongoing operations post-migration.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing IT operations, with a focus on coordinating technical teams and overseeing complex migration projects within the financial services industry.
  • In-depth understanding of computer security principles and technologies, with hands-on experience in implementing security measures to safeguard IT infrastructure and data assets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential challenges and develop proactive strategies to address them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with a strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering high-quality results under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: QAR18, QAR25,000.00 per month
