An exciting opportunity to join the Qatar Aircraft Catering Company. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the department by monitoring operational email correspondence. Handle all operational information of the department and communicate it to the shop floor team and leadership. Work as a coordinator between Operations Control Centre and the whole operational department.

Key Accountabilities For The Role Include:

  1. Perform department support functions such as email monitoring, work schedule preparation, check sheet printing, label printing, documentation, and filing.
  2. Receive updated information and instructions from the Operations Standards Department and communicate them to the shop floor team.
  3. Coordinate with the Operations Control Centre to receive updates, changes, and communicate them to the shop floor team.
  4. Monitor staff attendance and submit documents to the operations administration team for further processing.
  5. Communicate information related to alerts, notices, and memos to the department staff.
  6. Support department leadership to prepare reports for internal meetings.
  7. Raise store requisition to request materials from QACC stores to ensure the availability of all required stationery items for operational use.
  8. Ensure proper maintenance of all office equipment and perform inventory of office and shop floor tools such as scanners, temperature guns, iPads, phones, etc.
  9. Ensure availability of washed chiller jackets, issuance to the applicable staff, collection of soiled jackets, and return to the laundry for washing.
  10. Perform other departmental duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications:

You should have at least a High School certificate with 2 years of job-related experience. It is highly beneficial if you have worked in a large catering environment or a five-star hotel and have knowledge and adherence to HACCP Policy and Standard Quality Procedures.
  • Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading in English.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as function as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • A professional manner for interaction with internal/external high-level position personnel.
  • Basic organizational skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong follow-up skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office.
