Job Description:

The Country Sales Manager (Individual Contributor role) is responsible for developing executive plans for sales at the assigned territory following company strategic plans, which ensure that sales targets determined for the assigned territory are achieved and preferably exceeded.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Sell company products by implementing national sales plans.
  • Implement an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process.
  • Achieve sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Implement sales strategies and plans for the assigned territory.
  • Provide recommendations on alternative product strategies utilizing market feedback and research.
  • Project expected sales volume for existing and new products.
  • Implement sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Achieve and preferably exceed annual sales targets within the assigned territory and accounts.
  • Negotiate agreements for contracts with customers and ensure commerciality.
  • Seek out major clients and form working relationships with the premier buyers in the assigned territory.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Review proposal templates and customize/QA final proposals.
  • Follow up, ownership, and responsibility for customers post-sale.
  • Coordinate user group meetings to raise product awareness and achieve other marketing goals.
  • Update customers on product development and enhancements.
  • Report customer requirements and product successes/failures to their team.
  • Serve as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
  • Present sales results to management when needed.
  • Ensure the CRM is being used effectively and provide a competitive advantage.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients.
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers' individual needs.
  • Maintain the security of the information, devices, and systems that the company, and its personnel, customers, and partners use.
  • Protect the company's business information and any customer, supplier or partner information within its custody by safeguarding its confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Adhere to and comply with internal security policies, Code of Ethics, Non-Disclosure Policy, Non-Compete Policy, Email Policy, Proprietary Rights Acknowledgement, Background check Policy, and all other internal policies and employee handbook.
  • Participate in company-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Sales, Marketing, IT, Computer Engineering, or Finance.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the sales of software applications (preferably banking applications).
  • Extremely well-informed about the target market.
  • Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Understanding of the payments industry, compliance, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Natural leader with an ability to inspire performance with sales teams.
  • Strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • CAMS certification is a plus.
