Business Development Specialist Required, Qatar New

The School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified specialist Head of Music. The person appointed will be capable of teaching all Key Stages / Year Groups but will specialise in secondary music up to and including A level. The Head of Music will be responsible for leading the curricular and extra-curricular music throughout the school and managing members of the department.
You will also be responsible for setting up and overseeing instrumental music programmes including individual lessons, groups, ensembles, choirs and a string orchestra. Additionally, you will oversee all school concerts and performances, ensuring a high standard of performances as well as assisting where required with music for assemblies. For the right applicant, there will be a responsibility allowance offered.
Our Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality learning in an organised, happy and safe environment. They work together with other teaching colleagues in medium and short-term planning, target setting and monitoring to ensure challenge and the very best possible progress for every pupil. They participate in the broader life of the school, enriching the learning experience for students.
Applicants should be committed and outstanding teaching practitioners, able to lead by example, possessing excellent IT, organisational and communication skills. As an English school specialising in the English National Curriculum to a diverse international student population, strong English language skills are an essential requirement, and applications from native-level speakers of English will be preferred.
