About The Role

You will be responsible for creating reservations, quoting fares, and issuing tickets as part of passenger handling at the front office. Serve customers professionally through telephone or in person in order to achieve customer satisfaction, generate revenue, and take all possible measures to avoid loss of revenue.

Other Key Responsibilities Are

Operational
  1. Create reservations for passengers. Handle customer requirements/requests professionally ensuring minimum complaints.
  2. Arrange reservations and rerouting using timetables, airline manuals, reference guides, and tariff books.
  3. Issue tickets and EMDs quoting the correct fare to reduce passenger complaints and debit notes.
  4. Advise changes in booked flights of passengers or cancel or confirm reservations.
  5. Calculate and process ticket refunds through the system in line with station Finance Department procedures.
  6. Initiate and promote QR products to generate revenues.
  7. Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/emails; action telex messages or authorities.
  8. Issuance of Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD).
  9. Ensure queues, visa updates, medical transactions, and tariff inquiries.
  10. Handle processing of all kinds of rebates/discounted tickets.
  11. Follow up on own/offices sales report at the end of every shift.
  12. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

About You

  1. Relevant vocational, tertiary, or trade qualification.
  2. Amadeus reservation course.
  3. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  4. Track record of implementing change and revenue delivery.
  5. Knowledge of the Frequent Flyer Program.
  6. Command of the English language.
  7. Excellent relationship-building skills.
