About the Role

QR Cargo Pricing is embarking on an exciting new journey and you can be part of it Pricing plays a key role in driving the aspiration of Qatar Airways Cargo to become the World’s #1 Air Cargo provider in value, scale, reliability, and customer preference.
As the Senior Manager Global Cargo Pricing, you will lead the Cargo Global Pricing department. Your overarching responsibility will be to establish, execute and maintain QR Cargo's global Pricing strategy.
The role will be responsible to manage all functions related to cargo pricing as well as implementing and monitoring the QR Cargo pricing policies and revenue integrity for the entire network. The role will also steer the regions and the global sales organization to sell the right flows on the various O&Ds (origins
- destinations) at the right price.

Below are some of the key accountabilities:

- Lead the Pricing digital transformation of the department which includes new system design and implementation, business rule creation, and process development.
- Manage and direct Qatar Airways Cargo Pricing Department and lead actions that will deliver on defined metrics.
- Ensure high accuracy of overall business performance follow-up, providing high-quality insights including regular CEO / C-Level reporting.
- Identifies and implements solutions (policy, process, technology) to address gaps and opportunities identified through network engagement leading to cost savings, improved revenue, and/or improved compliance.
- Develop and implement QR Cargo Global Pricing strategy considering key parameters such as fair market share target, yield gap to market, competitive advantages, products, and O&D mix.
- Manage the pricing team and monitor the correct translation of the global strategy into regional strategies.
- Contribute to the continuous transition and improvement of pricing processes so that QR Cargo stays ahead of the competition in terms of automation, personalization, distribution, and speed to market.
- Oversee the pricing processes and policies global compliance and maintain alignment with regional counterparts.
- Supervise and develop the revenue integrity team who is responsible for the implementation of internal controls aiming at eliminating revenue leakage.
- Conducting frequent benchmark studies of competitor pricing outputs such as speed to market, distribution channels, T&C, and ancillaries to identify ways in which QR can stay ahead and provide recommendations.

About you

You will possess:
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum of 10 years of job-related experience.
- Experience in analytical positions in the airline industry
- Experience in cargo Pricing and/ or revenue management
- Experience working with a multi-cultural team
- Track record of negotiating and implementing international contracts
- Experience in project management and business transformation

Preferred
- Experience with an international network airline
- At least a minimum 5 years job-related in a Leader capacity
