Payroll Officer

Prepare and process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy of attendance and timeliness.
- Calculate and record payroll deductions, benefits, and other withholdings.
- Ensure compliance with country payroll regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee timesheets, salary changes, and benefits information.
- Manage the payroll system and update employee information as needed.
- Ensure all payroll records are stored securely and confidentially.
- Generate payroll-related reports for management, such as payroll summaries, loan status and expense reports.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, such as pay discrepancies and benefits deductions.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on payroll-related issues.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee information, including new hires, terminations, resignations, transfers and changes in employment status.
- Work with the Finance department to reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on best practices in payroll management and recommend improvements to current processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.
