Position - Human Resources (HR) Specialist
Qualification - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources
Experience - 2 to 7 years of experience
Location - Doha, Qatar
**Job Summary**:
Human Resources Specialist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR & the top management in supporting designated geographic regions. HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Recruitment/employment benefits, administration, employee relations, onboarding. Responsible to implement a variety of human resource functions & programs in the organization. The goal is to ensure that the day-to-day management of HR operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
- Organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, Induction and training programs.
- Prepare salary data on a monthly basis for accounts to process the salary.
- Maintaining various HR-related data in regards to Employees overall details.
- Taking care of personal and professional development of the organization’s personnel, which involves employee orientation, development and training.
- Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation etc. and resolve issues and problems.
- Employee welfare, safety, wellness and health and counselling is an important area of work for the Human Resources Specialist and involvement in the development and implementation of policy documents and handbooks that can be referred to by employees.
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
- HR policy development and documentation in line with the company’s corporate vision.
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
- Undertake tasks in performance management & working closely with senior management within the organization for the same.
- Taking care of the Performance Management system right from designing Job descriptions for setting KPI’s.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form Administering compensation and benefit plans.
- Develop compensation and benefits systems that fit the company’s HR responsibilities.
- Dealing with employees at all level.
- Handle employee complaints, grievances and disputes.
- Conducting various Employee engagement activities.
- Taking care of Reward & recognition activity in the company.
- Administer employee discipline processes.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Review and update employee rules and regulations.
- Maintain the human resource information system and employee database.
- Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
- Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve the efficiency of the department and services performed.
**Job requirements & Skills**:
- Experience as HR Specialist.
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
- Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
- Organized and efficient in daily tasks
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems etc.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Aptitude in problem-solving.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Desire to work as a team with a result-driven approach.
- Additional HR training will be a plus.
