Job Overview

Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth in the Power and Utilities sector, leveraging their expertise in sales strategy and commercial operations.

In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth in the Power and Utilities sector.
  2. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
  3. Identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to secure new projects.
  4. Leverage industry expertise to provide technical and commercial support to clients.
  5. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, meetings, and follow-ups.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power, or in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Min 2-3 years of Sales/BD experience in the renewable, thermal, and hydro sectors or related.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience in pricing strategies, financial modeling, and contracts negotiation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and commercial information clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software. Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) is an advantage.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in technical and financial documentation.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and align them with tailored solutions.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
