Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the line manager in organizing daily activities and ensuring proper data flow. This includes managing and controlling memos, manuals, documents, reports, and being accountable for collecting, editing, securing, and amending data.

The role involves maintaining and reviewing the document management process. The incumbent is responsible for receiving, screening, distributing, and prioritizing all incoming mail, both electronic and hard copy.

The Document Controller will also control the distribution of information, documents, new releases, and manage the destruction and retrieval of controlled documents. They will be responsible for the correct filing of documents and creating draft documents based on standard templates.

The incumbent must monitor and follow up on all official documents for review and approval from appropriate personnel. They will develop and maintain records and logs of all documents received and control the distribution of information, ensuring secrecy of all vital information handled.
