About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities and developing strategies to achieve revenue targets. Your primary goal will be to drive business growth and increase revenue.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    1. Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs.
    2. Develop targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads and build relationships with key decision-makers.
  2. Sales Targets:
    1. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets by developing effective sales strategies and executing them thoroughly.
    2. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase loyalty and retention.
    2. Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  4. Market Analysis:
    1. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
    2. Provide insights and recommendations to improve our products and services.
  5. Documentation:
    1. Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other necessary documents.
    2. Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in sales or a related field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in using sales software and tools.
