Job Overview

Responsible for selling through resellers/partners focused on the General Business segment (SME). To coordinate all sales activities with the partners to ensure successful closing of opportunities, mainly via coaching of partners' sales teams. Monitors competitor activity and implements strategies to maintain assigned account ownership and block competitor advancement.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for delivery of outcome of assigned projects or areas of responsibility.
  2. Internally recognized senior on complex technical and business matters.
  3. Works on large, complex activities, using demonstrated creativity and expertise and applying specialist professional knowledge to deliver high quality results / technical solutions.
  4. Collaborates in devising long-term concepts.
  5. May include team lead or supervisory responsibilities.
Complexity
  1. Contributes independently, resolves complex issues in own specialist area (e.g. cross-functional or cross-country projects).
  2. Works independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility.
  3. Provides regular project status and updates.
  4. Decisions/solutions can enhance essentially current and future design and strategy.
  5. Enhance complex systems & processes.
Experience
  1. Advanced technical or business skills and special knowledge in one / several areas.
  2. Individuals with a customer focus have developed the acumen to cultivate and develop lasting customer relations.
  3. Typically several years experience with increasing amount of responsibility.
Communication
  1. Builds and maintains partnerships with internal and external customers and partners.
  2. Contributes actively to build common ground for cooperation.
  3. Communicates clear and conveying processes & policies in a way that others can understand.
  4. Communicates relevant messages in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to cross functional colleagues & managers.
Experience & Language Requirements
  1. Minimum 7 years experience in sales & indirect sales.
  2. Profound knowledge in one or in several solution areas such as e.g. LoB, Mobility, In-Memory, ByDesign, BA&T, B One, BAiO, Cloud or in a certain industry.
  3. Knowing or having successful experience in multi-channel go to market models.
  4. Understanding the principles of solution & cloud selling through Partners.
  5. Knowledge and understanding of Indirect channel dynamics.
  6. Knowledge of ERP market.
  7. Local market knowledge and understanding.
  8. Business level English: yes.
  9. Business level local language: yes.
  10. Education: Bachelor equivalent: yes; Master equivalent: yes; MBA / Ph.D: no.
