**Cargo Operations team** as a **Cargo Operations Control Manager** in our office in **Doha.**

This role is responsible to develop, roll-out and manage day-to-day operations to ensure effective and efficient Operations Support Centre in Doha responding 24x7 to all operations related queries from Doha and the network stations, within the stipulated timeframe. It is also responsible to build a competent team to man the 24x7 support centre, develop and ensure processes, procedures and internal controls to maintain QR standards. Responsible to provide frequent reports to the Management through metrics reporting to ensure data driven decision making to support the business strategy.

Some of the tasks include:

- Design and implement control structures, governance, and measures interpreting policy and standards requirements to proactively implement a best-in-class 24x7 operations support center environment.
- Assess operational risks required to be managed by the 24x7 operations support centre and provide recommendations to the Management on changes required to the structure and scope of the operations support centre department.
- Design a master operating plan and procedures for the department considering all the operational and non-operational requirements with key focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
- Assess emerging/material risks, identify trends and remediate control issues.
- Identify resource requirements considering the different operations streams in scope, number of queries, engagement times, complexity of queries and develop plans to ensure deployment of competent resources in the operations support centre to cover a 24x7 operations.
- Identify and document competency requirements, essential to perform the support centre job functions.
- Identify, develop and implement a comprehensive training and familiarization protocol for the department in coordination with relevant departments to meet the competency requirements applicable to the profile.
- Identify, evaluate and coordinate for the availability of the required office/IT infrastructure required for the efficient functioning of the department.
- Develop, communicate and monitor internal KPIs for the department with key consideration on the quality and promptness of the response.
- Continuously evaluate the performance of the operations support centre and execute strategies to enhance efficiency and quality.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of job-related experience
- Proficient experience in Air Cargo Operations
- Experience in Aircraft Weight & Balance
- Knowledge of handling dangerous goods
- Proficiency in security matters associated with Aircraft Operation, Ground Handling and Cargo Operation
- Capable to drive Change Management with strong analytical skills
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Package)
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills
