**Purpose of the Job
Maintain and develop customer relationship, acquire new customers, and achieve revenue growth through new business development.
**Responsibilities**:
- Target strategic business partners in terms of value, market share and volume.
- Identify, develop and maintain relationship with a select number of potential accounts by communicating with decision makers and understanding business challenges and opportunities.
- Responsible for achieving the assigned revenue targets by converting opportunities, retaining existing business, and growing new opportunities from the existing customer base, to achieve agreed profit margins.
- Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction by engaging key stakeholders across the network to maximize revenue growth and minimize leakage.
- Lead the tendering process within the vertical, working closely with the tendering team.
- Responsible for account planning, development, implementation of vertical-specific activities & programs.
- Act as the customers’ main point of contact, working closely with different Aramex stakeholders to respond customers’ inquiries and issues.
- Contribute to the development of new solutions based on customer needs, market dynamics and best practices, ensuring proper implementation in coordination with all stakeholders.
- Constantly build market & customer intelligence in the respective sector through proactive research about best practices within the industry and competitors.
- Track and analyze existing accounts’ performance to support the development of new solutions for the customers and to create new account’s plans to achieve and exceed targets.
- Ensure healthy cash flow by supporting credit collection activities.
- Assists in the completion of Requests for Proposals “RFPs” for the purpose of obtaining new projects.
- Collect required customer information and documents to ensure proper customer onboarding and efficient operational handover.
- Perform all aspects of sales process and inputs & update all customer information utilizing CRM.
- Support the Commercial Manager in customer sales forecasting and setting objectives, in support of overall station objective.
**Job Requirements (Experience and education)
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any other field.
- Proficiency in MS (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- At least 4-5 years sales experience, preferably in transport, freight, and express shipping.
