Legal Secretary

MUST BE BASED IN QATAR.
**Role and Responsibilities (this is a broad but not exhaustive list)**
- Audio typing using digital dictation and copy typing of documents and correspondence
- Receiving and directing telephone calls in accordance with the firm’s policy
- Diary management, arranging meetings, seminars, external and internal client lunches
- Dealing with telephone queries and arranging conference calls
- Travel arrangements
- Formatting documents in line with firm’s house-styling policy
- Creating PowerPoint presentations
- Electronic and paper filing of correspondence
- Opening new matters
- Organising couriers
- Support with monthly billing
- Inbox management
- Assisting with filing/archiving
- Supporting with trial bundles
- Updating and maintaining client information on Interaction
- Receiving and sorting incoming mail where required
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and the firm’s policies in general
- Working as part of a team to ensure that effective secretarial cover is maintained, to include covering secretarial absences within the Middle Eastern secretarial team
**Person Specification**
- Ability to effectively prioritise and organise work
- Good team player
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work well under pressure / to deadlines
- Good timekeeping and attendance
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
