We are seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to join our team in Qatar. As a key point of contact between Hempel and its trade partners, you will be responsible for promoting our products and services, identifying new business opportunities, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with our trade partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Promote products and services to Traders and negotiate contracts to maximize profits.
  2. Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.
  3. Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospect traders, recommending solutions.
  4. Accountable for delivering value, volume, and gross profit & margin budget for assigned trade accounts.
  5. Identify and appoint new trade shops to expand Hempel's trade network.
  6. Maintain productive relationships with existing trade partners, assisting them to achieve their overall sales targets through regular visits and timely communication of trade schemes.
  7. Monitor and ensure Hempel's entire range of focus SKUs are present in the trade outlet and that traders achieve the product mix targets assigned.
  8. Implement sales promotional programs for brand building.
  9. Provide timely feedback on market practices and competitor offerings, essential for future scheme design from Hempel.
  10. Conduct trade audits to assess market potential, estimate sales of competitors, and define Hempel market share.
  11. Forecast material demand for the trade network to ensure stock availability.
  12. Coordinate with communication and branding teams to implement local trade schemes and events.
  13. Establish good contact with all relevant departments and officials within the organization.
  14. Resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt and satisfactory handling.
  15. Liaise with the branch accountant for proper credit control and establishment of credit limits for customers.
  16. Actively use and update CRM and Sales tools, including regular updates of Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Tasks/Activities, and Account development plans.
  17. Adhere to company policies, including procedures related to QMS and EMS.

This role requires a highly motivated, sales-oriented individual who is proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, CRM, Teams, and Dynamic AX), has an excellent command of spoken and written English, and possesses excellent negotiation skills.
