Senior Kitchen Management Position Available

1st-jobs is seeking a seasoned Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team at our prestigious *5 Star* Hotel in Qatar, Doha. This is an exceptional opportunity to utilize your expertise in kitchen management and culinary arts to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead food preparation processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of meals
  • Create and implement menu strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Conduct quality control checks on dishes before presentation to guests
  • Coordinate inventory management and staff supervision to optimize kitchen operations
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to maintain high standards
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of kitchen tasks
  • Monitor staff workload and compensation, ensuring fair and equitable treatment
  • Manage payroll and attendance records accurately
  • Ensure compliance with nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment among team members
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef in a luxury hotel setting
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office and restaurant management software
  • Credentials in health and safety training, with a degree in Culinary Science or related field
