Senior Sales Officer

In this role, you will execute and build business in the assigned markets ensuring high levels of service and increasing the Discover Qatar & Qatar Airways Holidays market shares in accordance with medium- and long-term strategy.
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Follow the Sales strategy for sales in Doha (i.e. post arrival) and distribution points to achieve sales target.
- Survey shifting market trends and propose recommendations and implement strategies to attain revenue targets. Suggest any Sales Process improvement to the Line Manager.
- Identify and evaluate new markets and sources of business that will bring additional revenue by active participation in the promotion of Qatar as a destination and Discover Qatar.
- Establish and sustain relationships, manage daily requirements, and negotiate agreements and arrangements with current customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Assess the needs of partners and relay them to the appropriate departments, acting as the link between all relevant DQ and QRH departments.
- Actively look for global opportunities and take prompt actions, in line with managers decisions, to respond to those global proposals.
- Execute and assist in development of all promotional collateral and advertising material ensuring maximum market exposure. Prepares reporting functionality that aids the team in reviewing market data for effective pricing strategy.
- Conduct market analysis and gather product intelligence and competitor information in various markets to ensure the competitive edge in terms of service levels and product innovation. Run the analysis, selection and appointment of representatives/franchisees in new identified key markets. Report their performance and ensure that the targets are achieved.
- Prepare high quality sales presentations for International Sales Managers/clients to increase destination awareness as well as increasing Discover Qatar reputation as a quality service provider and to secure more market share. Interact, network and manage contacts with the clients to enhance Discover Qatar image and facilitate the flow of information to maintain the edge over Discover Qatar competitors.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of job-related experience.
- Experience in Travel/Airlines/Tourism industry with minimum 5 years in tour sales.
- Proven record of hitting sales targets with exceptional win rates.
- Experience in preparing RFP responses, sales pitches and presentations.
- Experience in managing marketing and promotional collaterals.
