About the role
The air freight industry landscape is entering an accelerated phase of change and transformation. From digitalizing the end-to-end value chain, to fortifying a true e-commerce experience, to the launch of digital freight marketplaces, and much more. At Qatar Airways Cargo, we recently launched our VISION 2027 Roadmap as part of The Next Generation programme. The roadmap encapsulates the journey to bring about changes both internally and externally with the objective to simplify business engagements with Qatar Airways Cargo regardless whether the task on hand is complex or simple.

Some of the tasks include:

- Scrutinize and process all cargo claims with a recommendation to Lead Cargo Claims Officer for settlement or rejection of claim in accordance with conditions of contract published on Air Waybill.
- Process cargo claims within internal KPIs of claims department
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify service failures recorded through claims and ensure they are highlighted to the respective stations, departments, Cargo Quality and Compliance teams for necessary action.
- Analyze claim trends and report them to line manager along with suggestions for necessary service implementations that may require to improve QR service standards and avoid re-occurrence of claims / non-conformances.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining all reports published by the department for monitoring KPI’s and archiving department objectives.
- Negotiate with customers, network handling partners to reach favorable outcome to the carrier and mitigate loses.
- Identifies errors associated with the incident and provide suggestions of corrective actions maintaining high level of professionalism during communicating with Customers on their alleged case.

Qualifications

**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum of 4 years of job
- related experience
- Operational experience in air cargo industry
- Good knowledge of IATA/TACT Regulations, Temperature Control Regulations, Perishable
- Control Regulations and Live Animal Regulations
- Customer Experience knowledge
- Experience in issuance of CAPA and Investigations
- Experience in data analytics would be advantages
- Proficiency in CROAMIS system and MS Office
- Excellent command of the English language both verbally and in writing
