About the role:
As a Senior Manager Discover Qatar, you will be responsible to Provide strategic leadership, direction, and management oversight to overall inbound Discover Qatar business. Responsible for developing a consolidated Discover Qatar strategy on Sales, Marketing, Products, Hotel contracting, E-commerce, and systems. Oversee the optimal functioning of the B2B, B2C system with multiple points of sales. The role is responsible for improving performance, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop strategic plans for the growth, profitability, and increased market share of Discover Qatar.
- Ensure profitable operation including developing and overseeing strategic growth initiatives, margin enhancement, and maintaining consistency throughout operational areas of Discover Qatar.
- Identifies and develops industry best practice improvements to systems, processes, and structure to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Define, design, and implements the full range of E-commerce products in line with the overall commercial strategy.
- Lead Discover Qatar online sales strategy and all tactical digital channels.
- Oversee the development of outbound and inbound products including but not limited to Tours, excursions, accommodation, etc. to increase revenue streams.
- Propose the annual sales and revenue budget down to the POS level.
- Collaborate with DQ marketing joints and partnerships with third parties, especially QNTC.
- Continue the development of the inbound division leveraging off the QNTC partnership to build Discover Qatar as the leading DMC in Qatar.
- Drive the hotel contracting program ensuring maximum partners and the greatest value for Discover Qatar.
- Oversee and manage the provision of Discover Qatar services to ensure that they meet the expectations and needs of customers.

- Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Capable of communicating with the staff at all levels of the organization.
- Good presentation skills.
- Advanced Research skills, as well as in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, PC skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - both verbal and written.
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
