Position Overview

The Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) with MMEA-Qatar / Kuwait region will collaborate with our partner community and provide a holistic and outstanding experience to customers.

The SPM will be responsible for driving new opportunities with and through our partner network and growing the partner landscape.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through best sales practices, training, and support.
  • Establish contact, business development, cultivation, product positioning proposal, presentation, and closing sales with channels.
  • Work collaboratively with Channel Account Managers and Regional Account Managers to build existing partner relationships.
  • Recruit partners to the Trend Partner program to identify and target partner organizations as new prospects.
  • Identify areas of opportunities to secure additional partners to become part of Trend Micro's Affinity partner program in the specific region.
  • Engage with partners at all levels to increase awareness of Trend Micro's value proposition – including partner principles, sales, marketing procurement, and support teams.
  • Implement channel partner sales strategy, meet sales targets, and ensure customer satisfaction in a manner consistent with company policy and goals.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and seminars, as required.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of programs designed to promote Trend Micro's activities.
  • Document and regularly maintain all relevant information in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in the IT sales industry preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of channel sales experience with understanding of the Cybersecurity market preferred.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment under minimal supervision to provide detailed technical knowledge of Trend Micro software products.
  • Possess good business acumen in channel sales management with a deep motivation for achieving channel sales targets.
  • Ability to close business while achieving a high level of partner satisfaction.
