Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all support for the new organization is in place for successful delivery against its mission.
  2. Develop the business strategy for support services and the 'Operational Hub'.
  3. Oversee project budgetary and cost control.
  4. Design and deliver the new facility for the project and the new organization, ensuring it meets requirements and is fit for purpose.
  5. Establish policies, procedures, and working practices for the provision of support services for the new organization, covering finance, infrastructure, logistics, security, legal, health and safety, and information management.
  6. Suggest and develop outsourcing contracts where necessary for support services such as facilities and equipment management, while maintaining client responsibilities.
  7. Create a performance measurement framework to ensure support is delivered according to agreed targets and metrics.
  8. Implement processes and procedures to support deployed teams in various environments and collaborate with government and non-government agencies.
  9. Assist in the capability development plan by advising on support needs for new equipment and digital tools.
  10. Support stakeholder engagement and partnership building with organizations providing support services.
  11. Collaborate with the Human Capital workstream to identify training paths for support personnel.
  12. Mentor project team members and those joining the new organization.
  13. Oversee business continuity planning.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a support-related field.
  2. International consultancy experience, particularly in the Middle East, is desirable.
  3. Experience in drafting strategies, policies, and working practices is essential.
  4. Proven track record in planning and delivering capabilities and support services.
  5. Desirable skills include financial, infrastructure, and commercial expertise.
