If so, you could become our new Area Sales Lead for our Qatar market. In this challenging job you will work out of our Doha office and you will report to our National Sales Manager – Qatar.

As the new Traditional Trade Sales Lead, you will deliver the Sales Target and develop Sales and Distribution Fundamentals. You will manage the day-to-day sales operation and supervise a team of Sales Reps in the assigned area in a responsible manner in accordance with set targets, business plan, and Arla standards.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of Sales representatives, organizing, supervising, and coaching members to consistently meet set targets.
  • Developing and managing wholesale business in line with the company objectives.
  • Managing accounts within the assigned area/account and planning the routes and daily activities.
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships, proposing and initiating listings, BDA & display agreements with customers, and implementing yearly sales strategies.
  • Conducting periodical sales meetings internally and externally, analyzing sales data, and reporting findings to superiors.
  • Ensuring promotion plans are communicated to customers and sales staff, and correctly implemented to improve product visibility.
  • Responsible for the collection in Traditional Trade.
  • Managing all company assets in Traditional Trade.
  • Controlling market returns within the agreed limit.
Ideal Candidate for the role:
  • A minimum of 4 years of sales experience within the FMCG sector in modern trade.
  • Ability to motivate and lead others.
  • Capable of managing a diversified team.
  • Expertise in understanding sales markets and trends.
  • Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for figures.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to take calculated risks.
  • Qatar driving license.
