Director of Sales and Revenue Management

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to join our team at Hyde Johannesburg Rosebank. As a senior sales leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth and establish our hotel as a leader in the luxury hospitality sector.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all group, transient, and sales activities to maximize revenue for the area hotels within their scope of responsibility
- Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly/annual SMART goals, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required
- Develop rates, group ceilings and deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management
- Recruit, direct, manage, train and counsel sales employees
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally with multi-property exposure
- GCC experience in luxury/lifestyle brand is required
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals in the luxury hospitality sector
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
