Business Development Lead

Role OverviewThe candidate will manage and engage in deal advisory projects, working through the entire project cycle (from client introduction to delivery) with a focus on feasibility transactions, financial modeling, project financing, and business plan forecasting.
The candidate will also contribute to the planning and delivery of engagements, including work plans, timelines, project management, and resource allocation.
The candidate may manage small engagements depending on experience and business area.
Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:- Review and analyze financial models, identifying key trends and insights.
- Design and develop customized financial models using in-house templates and bespoke solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Support Managers and Associate Directors in supervising junior team members, reviewing deliverables, and providing guidance.
- Contribute to report writing, presentations, and proposal preparation with some guidance.
- Engage with clients, facilitating discussions and seeking perspectives to inform business decisions.
- Develop expertise and knowledge of various clients and markets, as well as awareness of lxbfYeaa's service offerings.
- Maintain external networks and stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and products/services.
- Contribute to case studies, proposals, deliverables, or other valuable engagement knowledge, ensuring it is recorded for access by others within the firm.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in management consulting.
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including experience in building models for infrastructure projects and debt financing.
- Preferably worked with global financial modeling hubs or delivery centers or a financial modeling team of a Big 4 firm.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and clients.
- Business acumen with a focus on value creation, decision facilitation, and project management.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders, contribute to challenging projects, and meet aggressive timelines.
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a dynamic consulting environment.
- Certifications in relevant areas of expertise are highly recommended.
